KwikChex has now published ratings on the first named travel review sites.
Background
Reviews sites, are fundamentally asking consumers to trust / believe in the information they provide on businesses. They are highly influential in consumer opinion and decision making. Small businesses in particular can be made or broken according to the online reputation created by such sites. It is therefore reasonable that they provide a degree of diligence and transparency to maintain a duty of care to consumers and businesses.
The principal objective is to use the analysis we have carried out to provide guidance to consumers on the levels of diligence and verification on reviews sites.
